As a storyteller, David draws from his experiences and fuses them into his work. David graduated from the OYA Emerging Filmmaker Program where he got to develop his skills as a filmmaker. After graduating from York University’s Cinema and Media Studies program, David was selected to be a part of the 2020 Being Black in Canada Program where he got to create his first short documentary titled “Fractured: A Broken School System,” which is part of a series called “Being Black in Toronto 2021”, now streaming on CBC Gem. David believes in creating immersive and captivating stories that inspire the audience.
